......1．Factory Background
......Jiujiang Rectifier Factory was founded in 1968 and has been engaged in the production and development of power semiconductor devices and installations for 36 years. It is a province-level high-tech enterprise, a national quality guarantee unit in the electricity and electronics industry and a leading enterprise inland for large rectifier production. Its products are mainly applied to domestic electrometallurgy and electrochemistry industries and it is expanding the international market actively in recent years. The quality grade and technical level of products are keeping after the world level, and the market operation has met the requirement for international commerce. In 2003, some products were exported to the Southeast Asia market.
......At the beginning of its foundation, it mainly produced low power chargers and semiconductor components, while now it has developed into a modern enterprise with advanced electric and electronic technologies, testing equipment and topping professionals and with powerful independent designing and innovating ability, and it has been recognized as a Province-level Enterprise Technical Center in November, 2003 after the development in the last few decades through its own efforts and the extensive cooperation with famous institutions of Universities and scientific research institutes throughout the country.
......Jiujiang Rectifier Factory has passed ISO9001： 2000 quality system certification, the registered trademark is No. 568899 Lushan in Category IX. The large rectifier unit is its first-choice product, which has been leading on the domestic market for 9 years in succession and has won favorable comments from users at home and abroad.
.....There are nearly 400 active employees in Jiujiang Rectifier Factory, including 140 engineers, 30% of the total, and among the technicians there are 2 country-level experts who are well known in the trade and have made outstanding contributions, 14 senior engineers, 60 engineers and 70 technicians in other fields.

......2． Traffic and Geographic Conditions
......Jiujiang Rectifier Factory is by Gantang Lake in Urban Jiujiang with flowers in the Factory throughout the year and it is one of the garden plants in Jiujiang.
Jiujiang enjoys a convenient traffic and more trunk railways are added to Jiujiang after the operation of Beijing-Jiujiang Railway, and through trains are available to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanchang, Wuhan, Xi'an, Hefei, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Chungqing, Shenzhen, Wenzhen, etc.
......Jiujiang is in the face of the Yangtse River with convenient waterway transportation, there are 5-6 steamship shifts daily and one may reach Wuhan and Chongqing to west and Nanjing and Shanghai to east. The expressways of Jiujiang are connected with Nanchang, Wuhan, Hefei, Nanjing, Hangzhou and Shanghai and the land traffic is quite convenient.
